  Viscous Gel 14 Day Toleration Study  
 
  • 50 g of rhodamine-labeled gel encased in a ruptured breast implant shell was surgically implanted in a rabbit.
  • After 14 days the implant was excised and the entire gel was found aggregated at the rupture site as an intact hydrogel mass.
  • Gross observation of draining lymph nodes, lungs, liver and spleen showed no migration of gel.
